F Bb G There's no law and order, they do as they please C F 'Cause at Grandma's, a kid is a king F Bb C F Bb C F Bb G When Grandma's around, and I bawl out my kid C F For some terrible thing he has did F Bb G Then Grandma butts in, and my boy hears her tell C F What a stinker I was as a kid F Bb G Our kids visit Grandma, and when they come home C F Their poor stomachs are always upset F Bb G Before they arrive we get medicine out C F 'Cause they sure will need first aid, you bet Bb F There is aspirin and laxative, large family size Bb F And some pills that will slow down fast bowels Bb F Their milk of magnesia their mama will pour them Bb G F Will be twice what is prescribed for bilious adults F Bb G Then when they come home, their faces are green C F And their eyeballs are so hot and red F Bb G Their mom pours the cure for Grandma's disease C F And each kid goes off burping to bed F Bb G What I am for grandmas and I'm sorry for C F Is for kids who have never had one F Bb G 'Cause Grandma's make childhood a wonderful age C F They help make being young so much fun
