F I’ve been thinking about caterpillars A And the things they don’t know Dm C All they do is eat on leaves and then they gradually grow F A7 When they pop out of their eggs, do they have any clue Dm C What their life will have in store for them and what they will do? F They don’t know where they’re headed A They don’t know where they’re from Dm C And they have absolutely no idea what they will become F A7 Thеse little wormies mеtamorphosize into something more Dm But I want to make it clear C This song is not a metaphor F A Dm G7 I just think caterpillars don’t know what’s going on F They’re dopey as heck, don’t know why we  A Dm Respect something that can’t do long division C Write petitions, or pay with a check F (AND I CAN DO ALL OF THOSE THINGS!)
