E I woke up one morning with a frown The falling rain, made me feel kinda down A Em I knew I had to get out of bed C7 B7 Em Get dressed, put a hat on my head Em The smell of fresh coffee got me in the groove For soon I would be on the move A Em And as I Walked toward that wooded trail C7 B7 Em I listened to the breeze, singing to the trees D Em A sad sad song which whistled on and on D Em The rain did fall, among the trees so tall D C Em And it felt like one of those days Em The forest creatures hiding from the storm Looking for a shelter just to keep them warm A Em The mourning doves making their rounds C7 B7 Em Telling all their friends it,s time to move on Em We just need the sun to spread it,s rays D Em Which will rid us of all those skies of grey D C Em Til then it,s one of those days
