Bigger Fish

G see that cup, it’s where you left it just sittin’ on my sink G and as the days turned to months i would’ve moved it you think C but there’s a two foot crack on my bathroom floor G i’ve got bigger fish to fry than moving a cup out a door G they say seasons bring changes, and changes bring growth G but my shoes fit just right and i don’t want another coat C and i’ve been thinking about all the things i said G when i thought i had the answers in my silly little head Am C so, be kind, all i ask of you is be kind (ooh) G be kind to me G well sometimes i get nervous, don’t wanna be seen G and it’s hard for me to remember some things C but as time keeps changin’ strangers to friends G i rеalize good ones don’t care whеn my stories don’t end G yeah my socks never match, and there’s holes in my drawers G and sure all of my mail still gets sent next door (aah) C i always seem to still find the time G to think of all the things i can do with my life Am C so, be kind, all i ask of you is be kind (ooh) G be kind to me G now the days seem much shorter than when i was young G and it feels it’s been ages since i’ve had any fun C and my back always hurts, and there’s gunk in my toes G and when i sneeze too hard sometimes it hurts my nose G still i try to be civil, i try to be nice G but it seems many people wanna get me to fight C and i know bein’ mean can seem pretty fun G until you take a step back and think “god, what have i done?” Am C so, be kind, all i ask of you is be kind (ooh) G be kind to me Am said be kind (ooh) C G be kind, be kind to me
