I Almost Let Go

G C D I almost let go. G I felt like I just couldn't take life anymore. My problems held me bound depression weighed me down. C G But God held me close, so I wouldn't let go. D God's mercy kept me, so I wouldn't let go. G I almost gave up. G I was right at the edge of a breakthrough but I couldn't see it The devil really held me; but Jesus came and grabbed me, C G And He held me close, So I wouldn't let go. D God's mercy kept me, so I wouldn't let go. G Em So I'm here today because God kept me. G D I'm alive today, only because of His grace.
