G Transgressor and sinner like the rest of the world Em I was by nature a child of wrath C G Being led by desires and cravings for what would not last G A prisoner held captive by the prince of the air Em Locked in a dungeon of death and despair C G By the spirit at work in the sons of rebels and liars G D Em C Oh, but God, being rich in mercy G D Em C Made us alive, alive in Jesus Christ G By grace we’ve been save, we’ve been raised back to life Em Seated in heavenly places with Christ C G To tell of His grace in kindness for ages to come. G Not works of our hands so that no one may boast Em The gift we’ve been given is what matters the most C G By grace we’ve been saved through faith in the name above all G We’re His workmanship D Giving praise to Him Em C He has prepared us good works let us walk in them
