Back To Being Stoned

C C C Well, I'll be the first one to admit, C I've prob'ly lost a year of s*x C G Spendin' too much time out in the bar G Way back in my younger days G I'd drink a week or two away G C But I got older 'n had a change of heart. C One night I put that bottle down, C Took a good long look around, C F Paid my tab and headed on back home G My liver'd reached the breaking point, G So I sat down and rolled a joint, G F C Said it's time I went back to bein' stoned. F G C You may not agree with my choices, F G C 'Cause I ain't had a hangover in years. F G C F And I ain't missed a day of work, or forgotten what I've done, F G Like I did a time or two from drinki' beer. F G C It's been easier to save a little money F G C 'Cause it ain't all that hard to grow your own, F G C And it sure don't seem to hurt ole Willie Nelson, F G C So I just went on back to bein' stoned. C To this day I haven't seen anybody smokin weed C G Want to walk out the parking lot and fight. G We ain't there to run our mouth, G The only thing we care about, G C Is what buffet we're eatin' at tonight. C We move at a slower pace, C Life ain't meant to be a race.
