G As I'm looking through these pages, re-reading my old statements C There's something in every word I write that always takes me back G To when I was sixteen C A kid that's dreaming of a life I still don't have G Is there something more for me C Than every day stuck on repeat G C In a job that doesn't make me happy G Have I been pushing pen to paper C Instead of catching up on sleep?
