Make sure you are playing the scales in the correct finger order. In this case, ]
1st finger plays all notes in the 7th fret, 2nd finger plays the 8th, 3rd finger plays the 9th,
and the 4th finger plays the 10th.

For example, if you play the A major scale, the first not would be
on the 5th fret of the A string played by the 2nd finger. Continue the pattern form there.
