In the simplest terms it starts with the first sequence which is Ebmaj9 (= Gm7 / Eb Bass) for a couple of Bars then Dbmaj9 (= Fm7 / Db Bass) for 2 Bars and back to Ebmaj9 to repeat There is a second sequence after a minute or so which is: Fm9 (=Abmaj7 / F Bass) for a few bars over which the piano hits arpeggios and block Fm and Van makes some soulful Ahh noises that could be misconstrued as constipation, before back to Ebmaj9.
