The Cold Song

C When your throat is feeling scratchy D and your nose begins to run G Your sinuses are stuffy C which is never any fun C When your temperature is rising, D but your energy is low G C It's sad to say you've got yourself a cold (Oh no!) C You cough a lot, you sniff a lot, D you spray with every sneeze G You're sleepy but the mucus C makes it hard to get your "Z"s C You use about a million zillion D tissues when you're sick G C And the gunk you blow is gooey, green, and thick (Ooh, ick!) F First you get a little sniffle C Then you know you're in a pickle G 'Cause a nasty cold is coming C Dripping in your nasal plumbing F Soon your breath is tough and wheezy; C Even talking isn't easy! G You got that achy feeling Wow, a cold is unappealing! C From the dripping and the wiping, D now your nose is sore and red G Since you can't go out to play C you spend your boring days in bed C But if you drink your liquids D and you take your time to rest G You'll get better every day until G E D C you're soon back at your best!
