Dreaming Of A Little Cabin

G D G G In dreams of yesterday I wandered C G Back to my little cabin door. G I strolled beside an old rock garden D And saw familiar scenes once more. G I heard the organ softly playing C G Its music came so sweet and low. G And I heard my mother softly singing D G As oft I did so long ago. G I was dreaming of a little cabin C G When I heard somebody call my name. G I Looked and saw a sweet old lady D And it seemed I was a child again. G She gently put her arms around me C G And kissed her little boy once more. G And i knew it was the same sweet mother D G Who had kissed me many times before G D G G I heard her sing the “Rock of Ages” C G And “Silver Threads Among the Gold”. G She told me once again of Jesus D Within that little cabin fold. G She opened up the family bible C G Where the family records used to be G And I knew it was the same sweet mother D G Who years ago had cradled me. G I was dreaming of a little cabin C G When I heard somebody call my name. G I Looked and saw a sweet old lady D And it seemed I was a child again.
