Wasting Time

D G D G D G I'm starting to feel old though I'm only thirty-two D G My hair is getting thinner and I cannot pay my dues D G The old friends are getting married everybody's bearing kids D G Simon has lost his father the belt I wear was his D G And though I got a girl and we're together for a while D G We still don't give it up cause I'm addicted to get high D G My mother is still worried and probably she's right D G Cause though I've tried a dozen times I just don't get off of it Em D G I don't know if it's right Em D G Am I'm just wasting time D G And sometimes I forgot to be aware of what I got D G Maybe it's because I tend to smoke a lot D G A stranger put a thought in my unpremeditated ear D G Somehow it's been a while since I could see so clear Em D G I don't know if it's right Em D G Am I'm just wasting time D G D G Wasting my time Bm D G I don't know what it's right I don't know what it's right D G D Am I ever gonna get wise drifting along G Watching the years pass by while we're moving on Bm D G And it seems to be a part of it all that things keep falling apart G D Still I'd never wanna go back again to the start G Everybody's leaving and I'm the one who stays D G Maybe we'll all meet again on another day
