Jed The Humanoid

Em C Last night something pretty bad happened G We lost a friend, D All shocked and broken C G Shut down exploded Em C Jeddy 3 is what we first called him G Then it was Jed, D But Jed's system's dead C G Therefore so is Jed Em C We assembled him in the kitchen G From out of this and, D From out of that and, C G Whatever was at hand Em C When we were finished Jed we were so proud G We celebrated D We congratulated C G At what we'd created Em C Jed could run or walk sing or talk and G Compile thoughts and D Solve lots of problems C G We learned so much from him Em C A couple of years went by and something happened G We gave Jed less attention, D We had new inventions C G We left for a convention Em C Jed had found our booze and drank every drop G He fizzled and popped, D He rattled and knocked C G And finally he just stopped.
