G C G Well I walked outside high noon was shining in my eye G D I jumped in the tractor with my baler pulling behind G There’s a scissor tail sitting in the fence post now C You met a lark sitting on electric wire G D G OH BABY! I hope the hay is dry G C I pulled in the field the hay looked nice and G brown As far as I could tell it was time to make one D round G I saw something funny went to see ya what it was C A few seconds later I heard a buzz G D G OH BABY! I hope the hay is dry G Bumblebees in the hay! G C Bumblebees flying low came after me G Oh the sound is loud and clear D I wish I was not here G Jumping green rows 1, 2, 3 C They still are after me G D G All of those bumblebees in the prairie hay G C Well I jumped up screaming a cloud was G forming all around G I headed for the tractor to find some higher D ground G I ran real fast must to keep ‘em from catching C Ended up heading in the wrong direction G D G OH BABY! I hope the hay is dry G Bumblebees in the hay!
