F Well I've never been afraid of much and B never thought I need a crutch F To help me thru the trials of this life F But there's one thing I can't do with out B and Copenhagens what I'm talkin' F C About and I love it nearly as much as I love F my wife F Now when I first started chewin' I didn't B know what I was doin' F But I liked the way it helped me to relax F And a big ol' chew tastes might good just B the way Copenhagen should F C F But when its gone I'm a slobbering maniac F B I'm a Copenhagen junkie there's a big ol' F G hairy monkey on my back C And he just won't let me be F G Cause when I run out of chewin' know I'm on the road to ruin B C F Yes that Copenhagen's got a hold on me F I can go without a lot of things like sweet B potatoes and butter beans F And you know if wouldn't really bother me at all F I can go without coffee for a couple of days B but if you take my s'noose away F C F I'll be climbing like the spider up the wall F B I'm a Copenhagen junkie there's a big ol' F G hairy monkey on my back C And he just won't let me be F G Cause when I run out of chewin' know I'm on the road to ruin B C F Yes that Copenhagen's got a hold on me F Well I even tried to quit one time my knees B got weak I sorta went blind F And my mellow disposition headed south F And I started eating like a big fat hog got B wild got mean like a rabid dog and F C F Start frothin' and foamin' at the mouth F Can I help you sir ah yeah do you got any Copenhagen No Sir I'm afraid we're all out AHHHHH!!
